Welcome to our 25th official AGM as a club.
Thank you for taking the time to join us in reflecting on our last year and planning our next year together as a club.
The purpose of tonight is to highlight the progress and achievements of the club over the last 12 months, elect the committee for the following year and make any changes to our constitution.

Accreditation successful as 2-star club. Progress continues to achieve 3-star status.
Chairperson’s report season 2024/25
The 2024/25 season has seen continued growth of the club, on and off the pitch. The season saw us compete across 3 leagues with 17 teams.
DGLL – 4
DJFL – 9
DCFL – 4
13% increase in number of teams YoY and 25/26 season will see a further 18% increase.
33% increase in number of teams over the last two years.
~300 registered players 25/26 season.

AGM minutes
Player registration requirements
All teams are required to have the minimum number of players (5 for 5 a side, 7 for 7 a side and so on) fully registered to start the season.
Coach requirements – those that need to update/re-certify their Safeguarding and/or Emergency Aid have been contacted and are urged to complete ASAP to avoid any team suspensions/fines.
Affiliation - all 20 teams are registered and affiliated with their designated leagues. All insurance and league policies are up to date and in place for the 2025/26 season.

Season start – Sunday Sept 7th, 2025
Season end – No later than Sunday May 25th, 2026
Closed weekend – Sunday 28th Dec, 2025 and Sun 5th Apr, 2026.

Rule changes:
· Proposal to reduce the number of Bye weeks from 3 weeks to 2 in both Girls & Ladies Leagues
Agreed 36-22 (for season 25-26 there will be a one off additional wild card bye ring fenced to 6/7 th September) The teams also voted 32-26 to have these 2 bye weeks available at any time during the season
· Teams to be limited to a maximum of 3 transfers per season from any other team in the DGLL

· Clubs to be limited to 4 transfers from any other Club in the DGLL per season (Youth Clubs only)

· Amendment to Rule 18(L) (GIRLS LEAGUE) & Rule 18(K) (LADIES LEAGUE) and change the Rule applying for Cup Competitions, to insert a deadline (31st January) into the 3 game rule

· Amendment to Rule 20(F) to increase the number of substitutes available to u12-Open Age teams from 5 to 7

· Amendment to Rule 21(A) To change the period of time teams have to submit their Match Reports from 48 to 96 hours (from 2 to 4 days)

Rule change – match day squad size to change from 16 to 18 (5 to 7 subs now allowed on a match day).
